LACROSSE STICK RECOMMENDATIONSWe HIGHLY suggest the following sticks (for all ages)
NOTE: We do not get any discounts, referral points, etc from these companies.
We just know good products when we see them!
Powell Lacrosse
#NEW #1 - POWELL PIONEER II ATTACK/TRANSITION/DEFENSE PRESTRUNG (order online only)
https://www.powelllacrosse.com/pages/heads
StringKing Lacrosse
#1 StringKing Complete 2 - Intermediate - $99 or StringKing Complete 2 - SENIOR - $149
(Dicks Sporting Goods or online stores)
The sticks above come off the shelf with the best throwing pockets around. No excuses and no worries!
For K-2 we suggest the StringKing Junior Complete #2 for $69
**Attention all STX Stallion and Under Armour Next Gen Stick Owners -
- we highly suggest you have a new pocket put into these sticks
- the mesh they use for mass production doesn't hold up in rain
- players get frustrated really quick.
- you can purchase mesh (Hero Mesh) and have a local lacrosse store restring the head for you.
There's nothing wrong with the plastic head or the shaft. Just the standard pockets they use (STX and UA) will not throw well.
- We suggest ECD (East Coast Dyes) mesh or String King Mesh
- The pocket should be MID POCKET with Little to Zero Whip!!!
PUT THE PLAYERS INITIALS ON THEIR EQUIPMENT SOMEWHERE (Unless it is loaned to them)
You can print out this list in the forms section if you need to.
***Please note that the Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Arm-Pads and Gloves must be LACROSSE only equipment for the Spring Season and Tournaments!
Some of the younger teams (U12 and U10) may use some hockey equipment. You must get approval from your head coach prior.
